Dementia Australia Advisory Committee Member Vacancies
The Dementia Australia Advisory Committee is looking for new members.
We are seeking individuals who have mild cognitive impairment or dementia and want to be involved in advocating for the needs of people with dementia and their families. If you're interested, we would love to hear from you!
There are currently two vacancies. We are also looking for individuals who may be interested in joining a wider Dementia Australia Advisory Committee interest group.
Diversity is actively encouraged. Due to the current membership make up on the committee, people who identify with any of the following group/s are encouraged to apply:
- People who live in any of the following states: Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory, Western Australia, or Tasmania.
- People who identify as from a diverse community, including the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer + communities, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population.

As DAAC is a lived experience advisory group, please note you must have mild cognitive impairment or dementia to be eligible. Please note that this form is an application only and does not guarantee selection.
