Dementia Australia have welcomed guest speakers to record a specialised education video for you to access.

In this video we are joined by Joanna-lee Tan, Titled Gerontological Physiotherapist and National Chairperson of the Australian Physiotherapy Association Gerontology group. Joanna-lee will explain the role of physiotherapy in the management of physical changes associated with dementia.

Joanna-lee Tan

Graduating from the University of South Australia in 1995, Joanna-lee Tan has worked as a physiotherapist in major hospitals, community and home care services, residential care, private practice and the not-for-profit sector. Joanna-lee is an APA Titled Gerontological Physiotherapist and is a member of the Clinical College of Physiotherapy. Joanna-lee is the National Chair of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Gerontology Group and the APA representative on the National Aged Care Alliance.
