In this video we are joined by Wendy Henderson, exploring the Montessori approach to activities which are designed to develop meaningful roles and routines, and enable a person living with dementia to function as independently as possible.

Wendy Henderson

Wendy Henderson is a team leader, facilitator and consultant and has worked for Dementia Australia for nearly 10 years. Her background includes working in the community and aged care industry for over 20 years and comes with a wealth of knowledge and practical experience. Wendy became an Accredited Montessori trainer in 2013 and has introduced the Montessori philosophy for quality dementia care in many settings in community and aged care.
