The aim of this project is to determine how people living with dementia wish to be communicated with including, what communication strategies they find helpful.

This research project is an opportunity for people living with dementia to share perspectives about what meaningful communication is for them. Findings may assist in improving dementia care, leading to a better quality of life and sense of self for people with dementia.

This study has been approved by the University of Canberra Human Ethics Committee - approval number 202211625

Participation details

We are seeking people living with dementia who would be willing to complete an online survey about their preferences in terms of communication.
