This session introduces ways of looking after your brain health, including practical lifestyle strategies that you can implement on a daily basis.   

Dementia Australia's facilitators have specialist knowledge, skills and experience. 

You will gain knowledge in: 

  • what are normal age related changes
  • the risk factors for dementia
  • actions you can take to look after your heart, mind and body to reduce risk and impacts of dementia.

Suitable for: Members of the general public who would like to reduce their risk of developing dementia and those who are concerned about their memory or someone they know. 
 
This session can be delivered onsite on behalf of community groups and community organisations. If you would like to discuss onsite delivery, please contact the National Dementia Helpline on 1800 100 500. 

This session is not suitable for professional carers or people employed in the health or aged care industries. The resources, content and delivery will not meet the needs of professionals.
