Dementia Action Week
18 – 24 September 2023
Dementia Action Week is a major leadership, awareness and advocacy campaign led by Dementia Australia as part of our role as the peak body for people living with dementia, their families and carers in Australia.
It is held annually in September, to coincide with World Alzheimer’s Day.
Dementia Action Week 2023 will be held from Monday 18 September to Sunday 24 September, with World Alzheimer’s Day occurring on Thursday 21 September.
In 2022, Dementia Action Week’s ‘A little support makes a big difference’ campaign focused on reducing discrimination experienced by people living with dementia and their carers, as well as highlighting the importance of an early diagnosis.
