If this is the case for your organisation, you may find yourself in the position to donate other things instead, which could still have significant value to Dementia Australia. In some cases, these gifts allow us to continue operations at a reduced cost. In others, they give us direct capacity to raise funds, or allow us to implement things we would not otherwise be able to.
Each organisation has something special to offer, so take some time to think about what you might be able to give.
We have been fortunate enough to receive donations in the past of: printing services, advertising space, auction prizes such as holidays and vouchers, design services, website creation and event resources like AV equipment, safety equipment, auctioneers and room hire.
In many instances, there are still tax benefits associated with the giving of product, so we recommend investigating it with your finance team.
